Network Simulation using ns-3 (TEQIP-II Sponsored)

Simulation is often resorted to analyze and evaluate the performance of networking protocols. Popular open source simulators like ns-2, etc have been widely adopted by the research community. Recently there has been an active interest in the community to widely adopt ns-3. ns-3 encourages the development of simulation models which are sufficiently realistic to allow ns-3 to be used as a real time network emulator, interconnected with the real world and allows many existing real-world protocol implementations to be reused within ns-3 (source: http://www.nsnam.org). This workshop aims at providing an Introduction to ns-3 and its scope.
